Here’s how to position yourself for smart, strategic wins:

1. Be First in Line
Check SAM.gov daily for new solicitations. Quick-turn opportunities are common in Q4, and the first to respond often sets the tone.

2. Keep Your Capability Statement Ready
Tailor it to the agency and opportunity. Decision-makers have little time for generalities—make it easy for them to see the fit.

3. Stay in the Conversation
Reach out to your agency contacts this week. A short, focused email or call can be the nudge that keeps you top-of-mind.

4. Attend, Don’t Just Observe
In-person events and matchmaking sessions are still happening in Q4 (Check out some events below). Show up ready to talk to agency representatives, expressing your understanding of their problem and how you can solve it. That means you MUST do your research and understand the agency, the forecast, the incumbent’s offerings, etc. Making it simpler for agencies to do business with you.

5. Focus on Simplified Awards
Many agencies lean on simplified acquisition procedures in September to move funds quickly. Be prepared for smaller but faster wins.
